PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for producing phosphor fine particles by which spherical phosphor fine particles having a uniform particle diameter can be produced at a low cost, and phosphor fine particles produced by the method and apparatus for producing phosphor fine particles. SOLUTION: The method for producing phosphor fine particles comprises: spraying a liquid material containing metal ions into a first flame or a first combustion atmosphere formed with a first burner 3 under reduced pressure to form phosphor fine particles; and allowing the phosphor fine particles to flow into a second flame or a second combustion atmosphere formed with a second burner 4 behind the first flame or the first combustion atmosphere to carry out reheating and firing of the phosphor fine particles.
