PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically display an appropriate program table near the out time of a program being viewed without intervening the display of an image of the program. SOLUTION: A channel selection unit 16 receives digital broadcast signals and selects a specific channel and extracts a video signal, an audio signal, and a signal containing an EPG from the broadcast signal of the selected channel. A controlling unit 15 acquires the finish time of the program being viewed from the EPG (S102), and extract program information of each channel at the finish time of the program being viewed to create a list of program information (S103). The controlling unit 15 provides, to a display device, a reduced-size video of the program being viewed, and a video wherein the list of program information is superimposed in a vacant area generated within a video display area by the reduction of the video being viewed, at the finish time of the program being viewed (S105).
