PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer capacitor for decoupling such that, especially, a user can adjust an equivalent series resistance (ESR) directly. SOLUTION: The multilayer capacitor has a capacitor body having a plurality of dielectric layers laminated and formed. A plurality of first and second internal electrodes are alternately arranged in the body to have different polarities so as to oppose each other, while interposing a corresponding one of the dielectric layers, respectively, and a plurality of first and second external electrodes are provided on a surface of the capacitor body. An internal connecting conductor of at least one polarity is included. The internal connecting conductor is connected to the external electrodes having identical polarity, and the internal electrodes having identical polarity to the internal connecting conductor is divided into a plurality of groups including at least one internal electrode. The internal electrodes of the respective groups are connected to different external electrodes among the external electrodes having identical polarity and electrically connected to the internal connecting conductor through the connected external electrode.
