PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermistor whose thermistor element is sufficiently protected without increasing the thickness of the element to hardly cause the separation of a sealed portion during mounting or carriage. SOLUTION: In the preferred embodiment, the thermistor 10 comprises a thermistor layer 2 including conductive particles dispersed in a resin, a pair of electrodes 1 arranged opposing each other to hold the thermistor layer 2 therebetween with their outer peripheral portions extending from the thermistor layer 2 toward its surface, and the resin 3 arranged in a resin of the pair of electrodes 1 opposing each other to encircle the thermistor layer.
