PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining WORF for every wedge of a new and improved disk drive. SOLUTION: The method for allocating tracks on the surface of the disk having a plurality of wedges about servo information demodulates the servo information on a first servo wedge (810), and determines a correction factor of repeatable write in runout to the servo information about the first servo wedge before demodulating the servo information about a second wedge (812). A machine readable medium provides a command for executing the above method, and the disk drive executes the method and includes a processor disk for generating a signal to position a transducer on a desired track.
