PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooking apparatus characterized by comprising a function for dissolving an odor in a heating chamber and dirt adhered to the inside of the heating chamber without using an ultraviolet irradiation means. SOLUTION: At least a part of the inside of the heating chamber of the heating cooking apparatus is coated with visible light responsive photocatalyst powder having a color of -5 or lower in a*, -5 or higher in b*, and 50 or higher in L* when a color of tungsten oxide photocatalyst powder is indicated by an L*a*b* color system. Visible light from an in-room light is emitted to dissolve the odor and the dirt in the heating chamber. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
