PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tomographic X-ray apparatus which generates X rays with an optimal spectrum and obtains dual energy tomographic images with better S/N and with a lower radiation exposure level of X rays. SOLUTION: This tomographic X-ray apparatus (100) is equipped with an X-ray emitting part (21) for emitting a first X ray having a first energy spectrum and a second X ray having a second energy spectrum which is different from the first energy spectrum to a subject, a filter control part (31) for controlling the application of an X-ray filter disposed between the subject and the X-ray emitting part independently for the first X ray and the second X ray, and an X-ray data acquisition part (24) for respectively acquiring first X-ray projection data of the subject by the first X-ray and second X-ray projection data by the second X ray.
