PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish-holding container for fishing, having a fish-charging port that enables easy insertion of fish and which is effective for preventing escape of fish. SOLUTION: A lure ship for fishing (a fish-holding container for fishing) 1 contains a fish-holding vessel 2, while the upper face 2a of the vessel 2 has a fish discharge port 3 which is openably closed with a lid 4, and the lid 4 has a fish charge port 6 which is openably closed with a closing member 7. The fish charge port 6 has a substantially trapezoidal form, having a lateral width A which is larger than the longitudinal length B and having a maximum width at the rear-end side relative to the longitudinal center.
