<p>A gas combustion type driving tool is adapted to expel a fastener by supplying a gas fuel, supplied from a gas can (7), to a combustion chamber (2) through a gas pipe path (11), igniting the gas fuel to combust it, and driving an impact mechanism by using the combustion pressure. The driving tool has a fuel supply valve (22) provided on the gas pipe path (11) at its end on the combustion chamber (2) side. A measurement chamber (31) in which a predetermined amount of the gas fuel supplied from the gas pipe path (11) can be placed is formed between a valve stem (24) of the fuel supply valve (22) and a valve cylinder (23). The measurement chamber (31) is adapted so that it can be selectively opened to the gas pipe path (11) or to the combustion chamber (2) in operative association with movement of the valve stem (24). The valve stem (24) is moved when the fastener is struck, and this opens the measurement chamber (31) to the combustion chamber (2).</p> |
