<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical recording and reproducing method and optical recording and reproducing device which efficiently optimize a parameter related to a write strategy, especially a pulse width. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording and reproducing method and optical recording and reproducing device which perform recording on an optical disk using the write strategy in which the parameter to control the pulse width of each record mark is contained, read a width of signal portion corresponding to a space of a recorded signal, compare the widths of the read space portions by pattern length corresponding to marks immediately before and immediately after the space and correct the pulse widths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
