<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballpoint pen tip excellent in water repellency and oil repellency at the top part of the tip, to hardly generate teardrop drippage, suppressing wear by writing at the top part of the tip, and excellent in writing feeling. <P>SOLUTION: The ballpoint pen tip in which a tip body has an ink flowing hole formed at a center of a bottom wall of a ball holding room and ink flowing grooves radially extending from the ink flowing hole, and a ball is rotatably held by protruding a part of the ball from a tip top edge, putting the ball on the bottom wall, and caulking the top part of the tip inside, is characterized in that: a nickel plated layer containing a fluorocarbon resin is formed on an outer wall face of the top part of the tip; and the hardness of the plated layer is higher than that of the tip body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
