<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for forming a three-dimensional shape by stacking droplets by independently controlling widths and heights on a medium, and an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: A first droplet 12 is dropped on the medium 10. The droplet 12 is solidified with the top face dented. After the first droplet 12 is solidified, a second droplet 14 is dropped on the first droplet 12. The second droplet 14 is solidified with the top face dented. A three-dimensional pattern is formed on the medium 10 by sequentially stacking third and ensuing droplets likewise. When the centers of the top faces of the droplets are strongly irradiated with ultraviolet rays by using a material capable of being solidified by the irradiation of ultraviolet rays, a solvent component evaporates in the part strongly irradiated with ultraviolet rays and the droplets are solidified with the top face dented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
