<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising seedling method solving the following problem: a risk of causing scarcity of stocks to be transplanted when transplanted into farm field because of no-good raising seedling when seedlings fall down in the course of raising seedling; a risk of damaging the seedlings because of improper action on the falling-down seedlings by a seedling taking-out device of a transplanting machine when the seedlings fall down at the time of transplanting them into the farm field; and then, a risk of causing unfavorable raising seedlings because sowed seeds become less likely to germinate when increasing the amount of covering soil to increase the thickness of the covering soil despite the intention of preventing the seedlings from falling down. <P>SOLUTION: The raising seedling method includes charging seedbed soil in a raising seedling container 1, pressurizing the charged seedbed soil with a pressurizing projection 3 provided with a stepped pressurizing surface so as to form steps composed of a low-order upper surface 2a and a high-order upper surface 2b on the upper surface of the raising seedling bed, sowing seeds on the low-order upper surface 2a, putting covering soil on the upper portion of the low-order upper surface 2a so as to have the same height as that of the high-order upper surface 2b, and putting covering soil again in the raising seedling container 1 up to the upper end after germination to raise the seedlings. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
