<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling performance by enabling a traveling wind to easily reach a clutch control device, while avoiding an enlargement of the longitudinal length of an engine body, in a power unit for a saddle-ride type vehicle where a clutch device arranged in a power transmission passage between a crankshaft and a driving wheel is stored in a clutch chamber formed between a crankcase and a clutch cover joined to a side surface of the crankcase. <P>SOLUTION: The clutch control device 220 for controlling engaging/disengaging operation of the clutch device 102 in a switching system, is installed on an outside surface of the clutch cover 92 on the side of a cylinder block 38F. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
