<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a user's work in viewing a content. <P>SOLUTION: A moving image distribution system 100 is provided with a server 1 for distributing a video content, a router 2 connected to the server via a network N, and a first and second 2STB (set-top box) 3a and 3b which are connected to the router via a home network, such as LAN, to receive the video content to be distributed. The router transmits a registered STB-ID of the second STB together with a distributed party change request in transmitting the distributed party change request transmitted by the first STB and received, so that the server changes distributed party data registered in association with a user ID to the STB-ID of the second from the STB-ID of the first STB on the basis of the reception of the distributed party change request.
