<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus for detachably attaching process cartridges (PY, PM, PC, PK) to an apparatus body A, having a simple constitution for preventing an interior of the apparatus body A from being contaminated by toner flying during an opening and closing operation of a shutter in a toner transfer section between a toner supplying apparatus 34 and the process cartridges P, when the cartridges P are detached, and to provide an elimination means for shielding and cleaning a vibration-proof glass, in an image exposure apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When a moving member 42 for supporting the cartridges P and a toner replenishing apparatus 34 is drawn to a drawing position which is outside the apparatus body A and the cartridges are replaced, the shutter is closed for the first time and the toner transfer section is shielded, or the shutter is opened and the toner transfer section is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
