<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller that saves power and increases processing speed at power failure, and to provide a toilet device having the same. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 100 is provided with an AD converter 112 for rectifying a commercial power supply E and supplying a DC voltage; a power failure detecting unit 110 for detecting a power failure of the power supply E; a control unit 102 connected to the power failure detecting unit 110 and driven by power supplied from the AD converter 112; a first clock 104 connected to the control unit 102 for generating a first oscillation frequency; a second clock 106 connected to the control unit 102 for generating a second oscillation frequency lower than the first oscillation frequency; and a nonvolatile storage unit 108 for storing control information for determining the operation of the control unit 102. The control unit 102 has a high-speed operating mode for the first oscillation frequency and a low-speed operation mode for the second oscillation frequency. If a power failure detection signal indicating the detection of a power failure is received from the power failure detecting unit 110 in the low-speed operating mode, the high-speed operating mode is entered, and the control information is saved in the nonvolatile storage unit 108 at the start of the power failure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
