<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross flow fan usable as a cooling fan and electronic equipment having the cross flow fan. <P>SOLUTION: The cross flow fan is provided with an impeller formed to have a cylindrical shape, a drive motor for rotating the impeller around the center axis by cooperatively connecting a rotating shaft to a center axis portion of the impeller, a suction guide body arranged opposing to the impeller and constituting a suction port for sucking air along with the rotation of the impeller, and a sending-out guide body arranged opposing to the impeller and constituting a sending-out port for sending out air along with the rotation of the impeller. In the cross flow fan and electronic equipment having the cross flow fan, an opposing face of the sending-out guide body to the impeller is a circumferential face-shaped bent face along the circumferential face of the impeller, and an interval dimension between the circumferential face-shaped bent face and the impeller is set to be 5% or less of the diameter dimension of the impeller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
