<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cover and a hinge device for a trap hood capable of enhancing the appearance characteristic without impairing the pushing action of an actuator even when covering a component arranged within the hood out of components of the hinge device. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge cover is interposed between a hood 15 and a vehicle body, and a rear end of the hood 15 is supported in an opening/closing manner, and used for a hinge device 2 capable of raising a hood rear end by pushing a part of a component by an actuator 6 operated when a collision load is input in a front end 10 of the vehicle body. The hinge cover covers the component of the hinge device 2 including a part to be pushed by the actuator 6 (for example, a lever side pushing part 23a), and forms an abutting part 45 not impairing the pushing action of the actuator 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
