PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information association system and an information association method capable of associating a map and an image even if photographing position information of the image is not attached. SOLUTION: Measurement time is recorded simultaneously with the time when position data is recorded by a GPS device 12. Photographing time is recorded at the time image data photographed by a camera 10 is recorded. When transmitting the position data and the measurement time by a PC 11 and when transmitting the image data and the photographing time to the PC 11, the PC 11 acquires the time of the transmission from clock parts 10b, 12b of both devices. The PC 11 corrects relative error of the times of the clock parts 10b, 12b. The display part 50 of the PC 11 displays a photographed image 52 on a map and its photographing position.
