PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition indicating excellent lubricant ability. SOLUTION: The lubricant composition, containing (a) at least one of compounds represented by formula (1): (R-X-)m-D and (b) at least one of particular compounds represented by triazine derivatives, is a lubricant composition excellent in low friction, abrasion resistance and its long term durability on extreme pressure high shear condition, as used in a machine element that frictionally slides, or the like, wherein D represents a cyclic group which can be coupled to m side chains; X represents a single bond or a divalent linking group such as an NH group; R represents a substituent; and m represents an integer of from 2 to 11.
