PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide congestion information of an area around a destination, without requiring entry operation on the part of a user. SOLUTION: A navigation device 100, capable of communicating with an information management server for managing traveling data of a moving body, includes a setting section 101, an acquiring section 102, a decision section 103, a detecting section 104, a computing section 105, and a transmitting section 106. A destination is set to the setting section 101. The acquiring section 102 acquires the information regarding the present location of the moving body. The determining section 103 determines whether the moving body is positioned in a predetermined range from the destination, on the basis of positional information regarding the destination and information, regarding the present position of the moving body. The detecting section 104 detects that the moving body is parked at the destination. The computing section 105 computes the time period for waiting for parking, from when the decision section 103 decides that the moving body is positioned in a predetermined range from the destination, until the detecting section 104 detects that the moving body is parked at the destination.
