PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component interference check device and method, allowing automatic determination of an avoidance component to be performed with a design change for interference avoidance out of combinations among interfering components. SOLUTION: Component data related to each component are stored in a database 1, the component data related to first and second component groups each comprising the same components as the other component group are extracted from the database, a shortest distance between the components and a prescribed reference distance are compared about a combination between the respective components of the first and second component groups to perform an interference check, and the avoidance component to be performed with the design change for the interference avoidance among the combinations between the components decided that the interference is present by an interference check means is determined based on the component data of the database.
