PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolating trestle for a house, which can reduce construction costs and which suppresses the deformation of the trestle by increasing strength against tension on the occurrence of earthquakes. SOLUTION: The wooden trestle, which is horizontally supported on a foundation for an individual house via a plurality of base-isolating devices, is constituted by combining frame wood with a plurality of vertical and horizontal pieces of wood 3. A plurality of hollow areas 4 are formed between the frame wood and the plurality of vertical and horizontal pieces of wood 3, and a plurality of pieces of beam wood 5 and 5A are combined together and erected in each of the hollow areas 4. The base-isolating trestle is equipped with a beam retainer fitting 10 which is screwed into any one of the frame wood and vertical and horizontal pieces of wood 3 of the trestle so as to hold ends of three pieces of beam wood 5 and 5A crossing one another, and a joint metal 20 which is screwed into the end of each of the pieces of beam wood 5 and 5A.
