PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable liquid crystal display module advantageous for compactifying and thinning application devices and preventing damage by static electricity without increasing cost. SOLUTION: One end of a front glass substrate 11 positioned to the display observation side of a pair of glass substrates 11, 12 which have the liquid crystal of a liquid crystal display panel 1 therebetween is projected from the end face of the corresponding rear glass substrate 12. A driver chip 2 for driving the liquid crystal is COG (Chip On Glass)-mounted on the inner surface (liquid crystal placing surface) of the projection 111. A main FPC 3 is subjected to continuity junction to the end. The liquid crystal display panel 1 is fixed to a shield case 4 coated thereon by a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated sheet 5. The shielding case 4 is engaged to a light case 7 in which a plane light emission radiation panel 6 is housed and installed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
