PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator achieving high power saving. SOLUTION: This refrigerator 10 comprises an antisweat heater 32 for suppressing the occurrence of condensation, an outside air temperature sensor 58 for detecting an outside air temperature around the refrigerator 10, and a control means 60 for controlling the heating quantity of the antisweat heater 32. The control means 60 has a normal heating mode for regulating the heating quantity of the antisweat heater 32 according to the outside air temperature and a low heating mode for heating a heating quantity lower than that in the normal heating mode and setting a heating quantity at which condensation occurs in an atmosphere of predetermined outside air temperature and humidity.
