In a hydraulic motor (1) with a three-piece housing (2) which is composed of a motor head housing (3), a rotor housing (4) and a motor housing (5), according to the invention the distributor plate (30) which is used for the inflow and/or discharge of pressure fluid to/from the working chambers (23) is configured integrally with the rotor housing (3). This results in a simple and robust construction of the hydraulic motor. Magnets (51) which bind metallic particles in the pressure fluid and reduce the wear of the hydraulic motor are additionally inserted into holes (54) in the rotor housing (4) which serve to feed in pressure fluid. Restrictor bores (60) in a valve plate (40) in the rotor housing (4) reduce pressure peaks and bring about reliable lubrication of the moving parts of the hydraulic motor (1) in all phases of operation.
