A cyclodextrin derivative is provided to allow compatibility to be easily adjusted and show low refractive index and excellent thermal stability, thereby being used for low-refractive index materials as a gap material. A cyclodextrin derivative has a structure represented by the formula 1. In the formula 1, the formula 1-a is a cyclodextrin main domain of which all or some hydroxyl groups are substituted for substituent A, wherein A is identical or different -O-R, -O-CO-R, -O-CO-NH-R, -SO3-R, -NH-CO-R, -S-R, -NH-R, -COOR, -NH-SO2-R, -O-CH2CH2-Rf, -O-CO-Rf, -NH-CO-Rf, or -O-CO-CH2CH2-Rf; L shows the formula 1-b, the formula 1-c, the formula 1-d, the formula 1-e, the formula 1-f, the formula 1-g, the formula 1-h, the formula 1-i, the formula 1-j, the formula 1-k, the formula 1-l, the formula 1-m, the formula 1-n or the formula 1-o as a cyclodextrin linker; m is an integer of 1 to 24; and w is an integer of 2 to 4.
