A single shoe type parking brake is provided to increase the brake drag according to the loosing of a single shoe by supporting an adjuster with the single shoe for the parking brake. A single shoe type parking brake comprises: a shoe(8) separated from one side end part; an adjuster(4) pressing and adhering a pad(10) being hanged on the top of the shoe with a drum; and a torque plate(2) mounted on the drum in order to support the shoe. The torque plate mounts the adjuster by using a connecting member(3). An extending member(9) of shoe is inserted in to a shoe seating groove(7) to be supported.
