<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mobile apparatus A which moves into a zone of a WLAN from outside of the zone to speedily catch the WLAN, while suppressing its power consumption in an environment wherein there are a FOMA network and the WLAN available. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile communication method includes a step, wherein a management server 100 stores in a storage section a first area in the FOMA network capable of conducting communication via the WLAN; a step wherein the management server 100 transmits a scan-start instruction to the mobile apparatus A, when detecting the mobile apparatus A enters the first area by reference to the storage section; and a step wherein the mobile apparatus A searches for an accessible access point of the WLAN, in response to the scan-start instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
