<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mounted air conditioner capable of simultaneously supplying cold air and hot air, or supplying a mixture of the cold air and hot air in a dehumidifying operation mode. <P>SOLUTION: Heat exchangers 10, 11 are disposed at upper and lower portions of an indoor unit body 1, fans 12, 13 are disposed corresponding to the heat exchangers 10, 11, and supply openings 4, 6 are formed at the upper and lower portions so as to be openable and closable. Furthermore, an intermediate opening/closing plate 16 is rotatably disposed between the fans 12, 13 of the upper and lower portions, and a cooling/heating mode and a dehumidifying mode are selectively performed by selectively driving the heat exchangers 10, 11 and the fans 12, 13 of the upper and lower portions and selectively opening and closing the intermediate opening/closing plate 16 and the supply openings 4, 6 of the upper and lower portions. In dehumidification, the upper heat exchanger 10 is allowed to act as an evaporator, the lower heat exchanger 11 is allowed to act as a condenser, and an operation for operating only the upper fan 12 by opening the intermediate opening/closing plate 16, or operating both of the fans 12, 13 of the upper and loser portions by closing the intermediate opening/closing plate 16 can be performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
