PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading recording device enabling a user to easily visually recognize and operate an image displaying part and an operating part regardless of the installation place of the device. SOLUTION: The image reading recording device is provided with a recording unit 50 for forming an image on a recording sheet on the basis of image information, and a reading unit 70 for reading an image of an original. The reading unit has an original platen for supporting an original and a pressure plate 3 for pressing the original onto the original platen, and on the top surface of the pressure plate, the image displaying part 1 and the operating part 2 are journaled so that each of them can independently turn and be held at a prescribed angle.
