PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative object having a foil formed on a base material suitable for writing utensils, timepieces, and cosmetics that prevents the occurrence of cracks in the entire foil including a colored layer and/or a metal deposition layer and peeling of an adhered layer and/or the base material. SOLUTION: In this decorative object, the foil is directly or indirectly covered on the base material, and a plurality of coating film layers are formed on an upper layer part thereof.
