摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion resistance evaluation method for a metal material under a condition of simulating an outdoor use environment exposed to rain by which a deposited salt on a metal material surface is washed away. SOLUTION: Corrosion resistance is evaluated by executing respectively once or more times following respective processes of process A, process B and process C. The process A is a process for depositing the salt containing chloride ions on the metal material surface, while bringing an average particle size of a saline containing the chloride ions deposited onto the metal material into 1-500 &mu;m, while bringing a salt deposition amount into 0.1-10,000 mg/m<SP>2</SP>, and while making a time for depositing the salt containing the chloride ions within 10 minutes. The process B is a process for carrying out at least once a cycle, while defining as one cycle the cycle of changing a temperature and a relative humidity to repeat a drying process and a wetting process in a range within &plusmn;5% of dew point fluctuation in the drying process and the wetting process, in the metal material.
