PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LCD control circuit of a console panel, a console panel and an image forming apparatus, preventing abnormal display when a backlight is turned on before completely eliminating residual electric charges of an LCD module. SOLUTION: This control signal generation circuit 801 generates and outputs a DISP signal, and further acquires a CFL_ON1. A count setting part 802 sets a period from when the CFL_ON1 turns on to when the backlight is turned on as a delay time while securing the time determined for each LCD module 105 and required for eliminating residual electric charges according to a DISP signal.
