摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic carrier core material for electrophotographic development, a magnetic carrier, and an electrophotographic developer, in which scattering of carrier is reduced while ensuring a higher image quality of electrophotographic images. SOLUTION: The magnetic carrier core material for electrophotographic developer is represented by the composition formula: Mn<SB>x</SB>Fe<SB>3-x</SB>O<SB>4</SB>(wherein 0≤x≤1.0), in which MnFe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>4</SB>phase and SiO<SB>2</SB>phase are observed in a powder XRD pattern, the SiO<SB>2</SB>content is 4 to 15 wt.% in terms of Si, and the lattice constant is 8.483 to 8.492Å. The magnetic carrier comprises a resin filled in or filled in and coated with the magnetic carrier core material. The photographic developer comprises the magnetic carrier and toner.
