PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static mixer which is capable of obtaining an emulsion with a fine particle size under low pressure. SOLUTION: The static mixer 10 is provided with a casing 30 in which a mouth 38 for inflow and a mouth 40 for outflow of a fluid are formed, a plate 32 installed in the casing 30 and having a plurality of convex parts 32A-32C arranged circumferentially, and a plate 34 having a plurality of convex parts 34A-34C arranged circumferentially.
