PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which enables the implementing of a performance useful for higher interests in games by creating the performance reflecting thrilling and exciting felt by players. SOLUTION: A performance unit 7 built into the slot machine has a display unit 8 containing a display screen 80 for displaying image information, a door unit 9 with hatch doors 91 and 92 which turn between the first position of covering the display screen 80 and the second position of making it open to the side of the players, a display unit advancing/retracting means 71 for advancing or retracting the display unit 8 along the normal D of the display screen 80, a door unit advancing/retracting means 72 for advancing or retracting the door unit 9 along the normal D and a performance operation part operable by the players.
