MOUNT STRUCTURE FOR TRANSMITTER/RECEIVER DEVICES

Satellite communication whilst on the move requires constant tracking of vehicle position and target location in order to reposition the antenna and adjust the feed for the appropriate signal polarisation. Presented here is a multiple LNB feed system matched to a waveguide Lens antenna which has a fixed central LNB whose rotation is limited to polarization rotation about its z-axis (see Image) and two further LNB units driven along a linear rail and having the ability to also rotate to a specific polarisation angle.
