An automatic transmission is provided to increase the durability of an oil pump by discharging a foreign material from the oil pump by opening a barrier of an oil passage. In a conventional automatic transmission case, a partition of an oil passage(110) is opened. If the foreign material is generated in the oil pump, the foreign material is discharged through the oil passage. The working fluid including the foreign material is flowed into an oil pan along the wall of the case(100). And then, working fluid is flowed into the oil pan after being filtered in the oil filter(200). Therefore, the durability of the oil pump and stable pressure is realized. |
