RECOMBINANT VECTOR CONTAINING NEO5, NEO6 AND NEO7 GENES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING 2-DEOXYSTREPTAMINE USING THE SAME

A method for producing 2-deoxystreptamine by using a recombinant vector containing neo5, neo6 and neo7 genes is provided to mass-product DOS by introducing Streptomyces venezuelae YJ003 which is an aminoglycoside-deficiency strain. A recombinant vector comprises neo5 of SEQ ID NO:1, neo6 of SEQ ID NO:2 and neo7 of SEQ ID NO:5 genes. A method for producing 2-deoxystreptamine comprises the steps of: transforming Streptomyces venezuelae YJ003 which is an aminoglycoside-deficiency strain to prepare transformed recombinant microorganism; and culturing the transformed recombinant microorganism to obtain 2- deoxystreptamine.
