A battery cell impact test device and a method thereof are provided to confirm the deformation extent of a battery cell on a real time basis by performing battery cell impact test processes from input to output automatically. A dropping part fixes and mounts the battery cell in a predetermined falling shape and is made of one or more removable members(210). One or more shafts(300) fix the dropping part at the predetermined height from a floor. One or more guides are mounted on the rear side of the shaft to move the dropping part vertically.
