<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transgenic non-human animal for further improving the accuracy of the drug metabolism evaluation in human. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is directed to the production, breeding and use of a transgenic non-human animal such as mice in which specific genes or portions of genes have been replaced by homologous chromosomes from another animal to make the physiology of the animals so modified more like the pharmacokinetics and metabolism of the other animal with respect to drug pharmacokinetics and metabolism. Concretely, the invention relates to a transgenic non-human animal for the evaluation of the drug behavior and/or metabolism in other animals and expresses an exogenous polypeptide relating to the behavior and/or metabolism of the drug and primarily expressed in the other animals.
