<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus reducing and eliminating CO contained in combustion gas of combustion appliances including a boiler, while suppressing production of NOx, and a boiler using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cleaning apparatus 30 reduces the CO contained in the combustion gas G2 produced by combustion, and is provided with a vent path 17A enabling movement of the combustion gas G2, a CO oxidizing catalyst 39 disposed in the vent path 17A and enabling passing of the combustion gas G2, and a cooling means 35 disposed at the upstream of the CO oxidizing catalyst 39 in the vent path 17A and cooling the combustion gas G2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
