PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent for measuring blood coagulation and a method for measuring blood coagulation time that can suppress occurrence of optical variation in the initial stage of measurement in measuring the blood coagulation and can further accurately measure the blood coagulation time. SOLUTION: This reagent for measuring the blood coagulation has a calcium chelating agent that blocks a reaction between a material other than a blood coagulation factor in a blood sample and calcium but does not block the blood coagulation reaction.
