PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality warning method which enables proper information to be transmitted to a maintenance management center from a user on the occurrence of an abnormality in multistory and multi-row parking equipment. SOLUTION: In the multistory and multi-row parking equipment, a plurality of rows of pallet lifting/lowering bodies equipped with a plurality of tiers of vertically-ascending/descending pallets are provided in a width direction, and any one of the plurality of rows of pallet lifting/lowering bodies is selected by a selection section so that a vehicle can get into/out of a garage. In the abnormality warning method for the multistory and multi-row parking equipment, illuminated push button switches 42 (43 and 44) of the pallet lifting/lowering body in the row causing the abnormality are blinked on the occurrence of the abnormality in the pallet lifting/lowering body.
