PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float for a DME fuel tank arranged in a fuel tank for storing DME fuel and capable of being accurately and stably floated following a liquid surface height of the DME fuel. SOLUTION: The float for the DME fuel tank comprises a hollow body molded of PPS resin or a synthetic resin material containing the PPS resin a main component, having specific gravity of 0.5 or smaller and a pressure-resistance strength of 1.8 MPa or higher and including an air tight cavity 18. Thereby, the float has an excellent barrier property that the DME fuel is not totally intruded, is floated on the liquid surface of the DME fuel, and can sufficiently withstand the internal pressure of the fuel tank 1.
