PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary feeding device for a shaft-like component accurately sucking the shaft-like component into a receiving hole and allowing a suction means to lose its suction force when a socket member holds the shaft-like component. SOLUTION: The auxiliary feeding device for the shaft-like component holds the shaft-like component 1 made of a magnetic material and inserted in the receiving hole 16 of a holding member 15, to a holding head 18 of a robot device, a thread-fastening device, or the like to feed the shaft-like component 1 to an object part, wherein the suction means 32, 36 are arranged on or near an axis 33 of the receiving hole 16, and the suction means are constituted to take two positions which are a sucking position of the shaft-like component 1, and a retreat position to apply no suction force to the shaft-like component by a change-over driving means 30.
