ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

An organic light emitting display and a driving method thereof are provided to perform a smooth screen conversion operation by successively dropping the voltage of a first power when displaying a black image in a pixel unit. A timing controller supplies a screen conversion signal to a voltage controller when an image of a pixel unit is converted to a black image(S100). The voltage controller generates a level signal and supplies the level signal to a first power generator(S102). The first power generator drops the voltage of the first power as much as the predetermined voltage and supplies the voltage to the pixels(S104). If the predetermined voltage is inputted from the user, the supply of the screen conversion signal is blocked(S106). The supply of the level signal is blocked in the voltage controller. The first power generator generates the first power with a normal voltage to the first power(S108). If the input of the user does not exist, the voltage controller determines the additional supply of the level signal(S110). If the additional level signal is not supplied, the black screen is displayed in the pixel unit(S112).
