<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption in using alcohol mixed fuel in a hybrid car. <P>SOLUTION: Alcohol concentration of mixed fuel to be supplied to an engine 22 of a hybrid car is estimated or detected, and the required operation point of the engine 22 is calculated on the basis of the alcohol concentration and the required power and efficiency characteristics of the engine 22. In this case, a plurality of required operation point maps for calculating the required operation points by using the required power and the efficiency characteristics of the engine 22 as a parameter are generated for each alcohol concentration, and the required operation point map corresponding to the alcohol concentration is selected from among the plurality of required operation point maps, so that the required operation point of the engine 22 can be calculated. The required operation point reference value of the engine 22 is calculated on the basis of the required power of the engine 22 and the efficiency characteristics of the engine 22 adapted by predetermined prescribed alcohol concentration, and the required operation point reference value is corrected according to the alcohol concentration of the mixed fuel, so that the required operation point can be calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
